Receptionist With AP/AR Experience-Tampa Area

Job Duties

· answer telephone, screen and direct calls
· take and relay messages
· provide general administrative, accounts receivable, and clerical support
· prepare correspondence and documents
· receive and sort mail and deliveries
· monitor and maintain office equipment
· control inventory relevant to reception area
· Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase orders
· Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
· Maintains records by invoices, debits, and credits.
· Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Education and Experience

· high school diploma generally required
· knowledge of QuickBooks
· knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
· knowledge of computers and relevant software application
· knowledge of customer service principles and practices
· keyboard skills
· ability to work a switchboard
