Rapid Systems' hosted mail services provides you with every service you would need and expect from a corporate mail server directly on Webmail. Domains hosted with Rapid Systems come with Domain Administrator access so you can add and remove email addresses and aliases, create incoming mail rules and share folders on the server with other users within your domain. Shared Calendars and Contacts allows easy user collaboration.

Webmail
When you're on the go, you can still stay on top of your email using Rapid Systems Webmail. Rapid Systems delivers an industry-leading Webmail interface for accessing email, calendars, contacts, tasks, and notes as well as complete domain administration. The optimized AJAX Web interface will be intuitive for Microsoft Outlook users as it makes use of drag-and-drop, keyboard shortcuts, pop-up windows, snapping panes, splitters, and tab controls. Full collaboration functionality and shared calendars, tasks, notes, and folders are available as well as reminders and alerts, bringing the features and performance of a desktop application to the Web.

Contacts
Rapid Systems Webmail allows you to keep not only the email addresses of all of your important contacts, but all of their other information as well. All contact information, like all features of Rapid Systems Webmail, is accessable through the web interface from anywhere on the internet. Calendaring allows you to store and retrieve appointment and meeting information from the same place as your email. Rapid Systems Webmail's calendar system is very flexible and includes many options that can help you keep everything organized. RSS Feed Aggregator
Rapid Systems Webmail contains a sophisticated news feed aggregator. Using the RSS tree, found in the folders tab on the sidebar, you can add feeds to keep an eye on. Some of the features of Rapid Systems Webmail's RSS capabilities are: Mail Server Synchronization
Using RSMail Sync, you can sync your online calendar and address book with your local calendar and address book in Outlook 2000/2003, PocketPC and Smartphones running Windows Mobile 5 or higher. This allows you to always have an up to date address book and calendar wherever you go by logging onto our Webmail service.

Virus Scanning
All mail filtered by Rapid Systems is scanned for viruses. Using the latest definitions from AVG, our SMTP gateways protect your domain from malicous viruses, worms, and Trojan horses in all major file types including mobile code and compressed file formats. When your domain is hosted on our mail servers, your mail will be scanned a second time with the latest definitions from ClamAV, ensuring virus and exploit free email.

Custom Spam Filtering
Standard spam filter solutions offered by other providers and vendors are not always the best solution for your needs. Rapid Systems' custom spam filtering services can eliminate 98% or more of your spam with virtually no false positives. Our custom tuned filters block what you don't need and allow what you do. For example, all standard spam filters will look for references for perscription drugs in an email and block the message if the filter triggers. Rapid Systems can finely configure exactly how the filter is ran, how it effects email, or or remove your domain from the filter completely (i.e. for a pharmaceutical company). Custom spam filtering can be applied for your domain or only for a specific user. Rapid Systems can even send you the email marked as spam either as a ZIP file nightly or directly to a mailbox.

Domain Forwarding
Hosting your own mail server? Secure it by having Rapid Systems answer SMTP for you. We can accept incoming connections for your domain across our redundant SMTP gateways, perform anti-spam filtering, and deliver directly to your mail server. By taking your server off the public internet, you protect your server from attacks and exploits while gaining the advantage of pre-filtered email.

Mail Backup Service
Most mail servers will only attempt to send mail for a few hours before returning undeliverable. Rapid Systems mail backup service queues incoming email for your domain for up to 72 hours. Shut down your servers when needed and have peace of mind knowing you won't lose any incoming mail.

Additional mailboxes can be purchased at a price of $2 per mailbox per month
Single mailboxes on @rapidsys.com or @myrapidsys.com domains can be purchased at $5 per month if you are not a Rapid Systems Internet services customer.
All mailboxes include 100MB of online space per box. Additonal space can be purchased on a domain wide basis for an additonal $25 per month to raise online space per mailbox to 250MB.
